I attended Appalachian State University. During my 42 years with State Farm, I have qualified for Legion of Honor, Bronze Tablet, Silver Scroll, Golden Triangle, Crystal of Excellence and Ambassador Travel Qualifier. I have been married to the love of my life for 59 wonderful years. We have 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. I am an active member in our local Rotary Club as well as a Past President; I received the J Carlyle Rutledge Lifetime Service Award in 2016. I have served for many years on the Kannapolis Education Foundation Board. When I am not in the office with my team I enjoy fishing, hunting, sporting clays and golf and spending time with my family.

Upon retirement in June of 2018, I received my insurance licenses to offer Auto, home, life and health insurance. I decided to follow in the family footsteps by joining my father’s office, Jim Hodgens’ State Farm, as a team member. I feel that I’m still in the teaching business, helping others discovering what their insurance needs are and understand the coverage they have.

I have been married to my husband for thirty-seven wonderful years. We have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and five beautiful grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with family, shopping, and traveling.
