Hello! I'm Jim Hodgens, your local State Farm Insurance Agent here in Concord, NC!

I attended Appalachian State University and have dedicated 45 years to helping individuals and families with their insurance needs through State Farm. Before opening my agency, I spent more than 12 years in the corporate world and realized that State Farm offered a meaningful opportunity to help people when they needed it most. Building a State Farm agency has allowed me to support our customers while maintaining a positive presence in the community where I was born and raised. In addition to my experience as an agent, I have five years of agency management experience, recruiting and developing new agents. I hold the LUTCF professional designation and, throughout my career, have qualified for Legion of Honor, Bronze Tablet, Silver Scroll, Golden Triangle, Crystal of Excellence, and Ambassador Travel Qualifier honors.

Community involvement and family have always been important to me. My wife and I have been married for more than 61 wonderful years, and together we have raised three daughters. We are blessed with five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and we enjoy spending time together celebrating birthdays and family events. I am a 40-year member of the Kannapolis Rotary Club and currently serve my second term as Club President. As a Past President, I was honored to receive the J. Carlyle Rutledge Lifetime Service Award in 2016. I have also served on the Kannapolis Education Foundation Board for more than 12 years and am a deacon at West Point Baptist Church. When I am not in the office, I enjoy golf, fly fishing, sporting clays, and spending time with family.
