I attended Appalachian State University. During my 44 years with State Farm, I have qualified for Legion of Honor, Bronze Tablet, Silver Scroll, Golden Triangle, Crystal of Excellence and Ambassador Travel Qualifier. I have been married to the love of my life for sixty - one wonderful years. We have 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. I am an active member in our local Rotary Club as well as a Past President; I received the J. Carlyle Rutledge Lifetime Service Award in 2016. I have served for many years on the Kannapolis Education Foundation Board. When I am not in the office with my team I enjoy fishing, hunting, sporting clays and golf and spending time with my family.
